Delta and the disparate outcomes across the States

The delta outbreak in NSW, Vic and the ACT and the resultant lockdowns have dramatically impacted the economic landscape for each state economy. In this podcast Gareth Aird, Head of Australian Economics speaks with Belinda Allen, Senior Economist and Stephen Wu, Economist about how each state economy is tracking on the COVID front. In particular they dive into the detail on consumer spending, housing and the labour market as well as the impact on the outlook through the lockdown period and the adjustment period where COVID is part of everyday life.
