Kairos
Mark 1:14-15
14 After John was put in prison, Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God. 15 “The time has come,” he said. “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!”
Kairos IS The appointed time in the purpose of God.
Kairos moments are given to the Body of Christ for victory.
It demonstrates to us the tangible work of God and reassurance that our work and prayers are not in vain.
It reminds us that God is not far from us and that He is not concerned about every area of our lives.
Kairos moments can be the manifesting of a supernatural thing that a believer is seeking.
Kairos moments demonstrate the power and wisdom of God.
He is not bound by our time, neither does He manifest when we desire but on His time.
When God was ready to create the nation of Israel He intervened into Abram’s life (Genesis 12:1-2).
When Israel needed to be delivered from the hands of the Egyptians, He intervened into Moses’s life (Genesis 3:1-10).
We see God intervening in Mary’s life, making the way for the birth of Christ Jesus, who was to be the Savior of the World (Matthew 1:18-21: Luke 1:26-38).
In Acts 9:1-8 God intervened into the life of the Apostle Paul when the gospel needed to be preached among the Gentile nations.
At kairos moments in his life, Abraham had to trust God with a completely unknown future.
God told Abraham to “go” without telling him where he was headed.
He told Abraham that he would have a son without explaining how.
God’s interaction with Abraham is like - Just close your eyes and take my hand. And that will be your Kairos Moment.
Kairos time is here. It calls for action, call for transformational change of life.
James 4:8 Come near to God, and God will come near to you.
