Face To Face with Jesus Christ
I John 5:12
Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.
Those who have the Son, those who are born again in Christ have life. Those who do not have the Son, those who remain in their sin apart from Christ, do not have life.
John is speaking of life in an eternal sense. Many today are far away from Christ and living physically, but they are dead spiritually.
Only the saved have the assurance of eternal life.
Those who die physically without Christ will face eternal death in hell.
There is only one source of salvation Christ the Lord.
We either have life in Him or not. We are saved or lost and our eternal destiny depends on the spiritual condition at death.
Those in Christ will enjoy life eternal and those apart from Christ must endure eternal death.
Eternal life is not just to be thought of in terms of quantity, for eternal life is endless, but also in terms of quality, it must be considered and merited.
It is life abundant, life exciting, and life adventurous, which is full, meaningful, and relevant.
This is God’s gift to all who have the Son.
The modern day thinking signifies that one’s thoughts could unlock secrets to living a better life, free from the constraints of religious doctrines or dogmas.
We can never approve of modern-day thinking.
It does not make much difference what you believe as long as you are sincere.
John says there is no eternal life apart from having Christ personally in the life.
Do we believe Christ, the Apostle John, and all the other Apostles or do we believe the modern theme and concepts?
We need to bring people face to face with God. To experience him 1st hand.
Inside the Tent of Meeting, the LORD would speak to Moses face to face, as one speaks to a friend.
Face to face is about intimate communication. Today, we need to come to God to an intimate relationship and communication.
We must bring people into a face to face communication with God so they know who the son of God is and the life that he gives is eternal.
It's a call of duty for everyone who today remain in Christ. We have a choice to be selfish that only we must be saved eternally and others face the wrath.
Or, you may be selfless to help them meet GOD face to face.
Let us pray
Dear Lord, Thank you for the revelation. Help us to become selfless in helping someone meet you face to face through which their life will be transformed eternally.
