Morning Report 6 Oct 21: Volatility remains as ASX 200 set to recover yesterday’s losses
US and European markets posted solid gains overnight helped by better economic news. Energy names advanced in response to surging prices; Global oil prices rose by around 2.0% on Tuesday after OPEC+ elected not to lift production more than planned, Natural Gas prices surged by almost 10%. The Dow Jones index rose by 312 points or 1.4%. The S&P 500 index rose 1.1% and the Nasdaq index rose by 178 points or 1.3%
