An ambush conversation is when someone “grabs” you to talk about something important when you are in the middle of something; between meetings (on the way to the bathroom is a favorite in the office) or when you aren’t ready to have the conversation.
An ambush conversation often results in saying “yes” when you should have and would have said “no” if your brain had had a chance to think.
Listen in as Abigail McCloskey, Bill Lindquist, Rick Alcantara, and I share how we deal with people who "grab" us for a "quick second" and admit that we are often the ones doing the ambushing.
