Satan’s second attack on the church was to influence two of its members to lie to the Spirit by pretending to give to the church more than they actually did. This lie, if it had been successful, would have provided the liars with undue influence in the governance of the early church in Jerusalem. Peter’s confrontation of the liars stopped this attack and eradicated the problem from the church. Today’s sermon: When Satan Attacks Church Governance. (Acts 5:1-11)
