Frank wonders how opera singers can tolerate someone singing loudly near their ear during an embrace in a romantic scene. Kathryn says it is loud but you get used to it.
Frank was a guest on a podcast that also featured a guest describing House Mountain in Knox County. Kathryn and her husband James did the “moderate” hike up House Mountain. Kathryn was not impressed with the view from the top.

Kathryn says she woke up before 9:00 so she could go swimming at a health club. She normally sleeps later because “art doesn’t happen before noon.”
Frank told Kathryn that female news anchors and meteorologists strap their microphone packs to their calves. Kathryn bought a thigh garter that is actually a gun holster. She also bought a lacy garter that is actually a cell phone holder.
Frank’s wife is out of town so he is trying to use up food in the pantry and freezer. He wants to know how to microwave a potato. One sweet potato has grown shoots. Frank will bury it in the garden.
