After a season of ministry to neighboring villages the bride of Christ in the Song of Songs experienced a season of rest in the arms of Christ. She knew that if she was going to continue to be fruitful and faithful in her ministry the love of Christ must continue reign supreme in her life! So she requests that Christ set her as a “seal” over His heart. She knows His love is “as strong as death” and “flashes like a most vehement flame.” In fact, this Love is "the flame of YAH"!
