Christian recently lit Netflix’s first original African production Queen Sono in Johannesburg and Netflix’s first production in Nigeria. He has worked on projects with notable names such as Nike and LeBron James, Spike Lee, and with Tessa Thompson on Amazon. In 2014 he and others founded Lights, Camera, Diaspora!, which is a Hollywood-based social enterprise non-profit that bridges the gap between the African and African Diaspora entertainment production industries. Since 2015, the company has conducted over 25 workshops and technical masterclasses in 8 countries in Africa. Christian won the Africa Diaspora Awards ‘Creative Person of the Year’ Award in 2017.
Dami Ayorinde is a 19 year old lighting technician from Nigeria who started in the industry as a trainee on a Netflix original with Christian Epps. She has been working actively in lighting departments since then.
