This week on American Real, we take you to London, for our 20th episode filmed at the breathtaking St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel, where we sit down with Lisa May, founder and host of Expat Real and who is part of the London Real family, where she's acted in the capacity of instructor, team leader and community manager at the London Real Academy.
Our conversation includes Lisa's expat lifestyle, how she teaches those who are interested in the same, as well as what ultimately gave her the courage to make this drastic lifestyle change, which she so enjoys. We discuss her fascinating upbringing growing up in New York City in the 1980's, her time spent at Washington Park and her motto at the time, which was, "You need to leave your street corner." Today, in many ways, Lisa still lives by those same words... as she talks about the importance to explore, travel and need to get out of your comfort zone. Halfway through the episode, Lisa, for the first time, reveals the identity of her father and tells of how her parents met in the late 1960's. Then, at the end of the filming, we leave you with an amazing discovery, which you will NOT want to miss!
