I am with you
They will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the Lord. Jeremiah 1:19
GOD is determined to defend and support us against our enemies.
In this passage, God asked Jeremiah to speak to the Israelites what he has commanded to say.
God reminds his servant Jeremiah that he has been supplied invincible power.
Yet he would have great trials, so whatever he does, must be carefully and diligently done.
God says, he has already made us like a fortified city, an iron pillar, and a brazen wall not for the purpose of keeping away all dangers, but to fight everything that is hard and troublesome to the flesh.
We, in short, see that the promise for Jeremiah was to be dependent on, relying on God’s aid, and this might not hesitate to set himself against all the Jews, whatever might be their fury, he might still be courageous.
Hence God says, They shall fight, but they shall not prevail, for I am with you to deliver you.
We see that Jeremiah was fully armed, that he might not fear on seeing dangers surrounding him.
God does not here declare that he would be like a wall to him to prevent him from being assaulted, but he says that he would deliver him.
Prepare to suffer, go through tough times, but they wont last long, because God will deliver us.
It would be all over us, and we might think that we will perish a hundred times. But God says, there is no reason for us to fear any dangers, since God is present and he is the deliverer.
When God is with us which means that he has established a relationship with us.
When God is with us, we are assured of our strength, help. Victory over sin and death.
God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13)
Psalm 118:6-7 The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me? The LORD is with me; he is my helper. I will look in triumph on my enemies.
Ephesians 3:16, 17 Paul asked that they would be strengthened with might, and that the strength would be according to the riches of His glory.
He also prayed that the strength would come through the Holy Spirit and that it would be put into their inner man.
We need spiritual strength to let Christ dwell within us because there is something in us that resists the influence of the indwelling Jesus.
This can be conquered as the Spirit of God gives us the victory of faith.
When we do that,
Ephesians 3:20-21 "Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen."
Paul asked God to fill these Christians unto all the fullness of God.
The fullness of God (Colossians 2:9), and to be filled to their capacity with Jesus, even as God is filled to His own capacity with His own character and attributes.
You can ask for every good thing you have ever experienced God can do above that.
You can think of or imagine things beyond your experience God can do above that.
You can imagine good things that are beyond your ability God can do above that.

Heavenly Father, we submit this month in your hands knowing and understanding that you are with us. No matter what situation we go through, whatever the enemy brings up against us, we know that we will prevail. In Jesus Name. Amen.
