Meet a former Army Airborne Captain who is best known for her “Ready, Fire, Aim” personality. In 1991, Laurie Reider-Jabbar was part of one of the earliest female graduating classes of the United States Military, at West Point. After serving her country for 6 years in multiple locations in Germany, she decided to try her hand at something completely new and out of her comfort zone. In late 1996, Laurie relocated to the Bay Area to deep dive into the rapidly emerging high-tech sector.
Recognized multiple times as a “Female Entrepreneur of Year,” Laurie help start and sell multiple companies in the services and media industry. After one epic startup fail, Laurie decided to focus on being a mom and volunteer within her community. She has served on multiple boards of organizations that benefit schools, children and causes within the community.
Leveraging “the year of being home” in 2020, Laurie decided to launch a podcast. With its first episodes airing in January of 2021, “She’s a 10 Times 5,” strives to provide a voice and relatable topics to women hitting their second acts. Each episode is a story meant to inspire woman to live some of their best years after 40. Laurie is a wife and proud mama of two amazing young men, and someone who cherishes the great gift of sisterhood.
