With everyone’s comfort for getting out and about at different levels, feeling safe when taking your family for an adventure has never been more important. The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Outdoor Adventure Center in Detroit knows just how important it is to keep you and your family safe during this time and has made some great improvements to give you peace of mind when they reopen October 1st.
In this episode, we sit down with Linda Walter, director of the DNR Outdoor Adventure Center, to talk about what businesses are doing entering the fall and winter to help keep families entertained and safe at the same time. We talk about some of their upcoming events like the Harvest Family Campout and the reopening of the Outdoor Adventure Center, as well as some fabulous state parks to put on your must-see list.
We are excited to partner with the Michigan Wildlife Council and the DNR Outdoor Adventure Center on this episode of The Unfiltered Mom. The Outdoor Adventure Center is located at 1801 Atwater Street in Detroit.
