In this episode, we present to you something a little bit different. Rather than go into our own analysis of the work in question, we are going to let the author speak for herself. On October 21st, 2021, we had the opportunity to speak with author Karla Cornejo Villavicencio about her book, The Undocumented Americans. With this episode, we are sharing our interview with from the Harman Writer-In-Residence talk that took place at Baruch College, CUNY.
Before we get to that interview, we will provide a brief biographical introduction of the author and share a reading that she did of the introduction to her book. And at the end we will recap our thoughts on the event and, as usual, include recommendations for memoirs and other works of creative nonfiction by Latinas.
