Ghost in the Shell (2017) Commentary

The boys from the NE are once again back crankkng away at their retrospective-machines. Isaac has been hard at work, deep within the bowels of the Novice Elitists' Labs, and has come out with a series taking aim at Hollywood Adapations based off Japanese animation. But instead of taking the tact of comparing these films against their originals, your hosts are gonna do their best to seperate the two and consider the merits of the new films for what they are, and try to give them a fair review. We start by examining the 2017 box office flop, Ghost in the Shell. What will your hosts think, 4 years after its cinema debut? Only one way to find out. ▶️
