On this episode of March Forth with Mike Bauman, Mike chats with Colton Ramey!
Based in Jacksonville, Florida, Colton has a love for music which dates back his days growing up in Iowa. His uncle got him his first guitar when he was around nine-years-old, and he was hooked. Initially learning songs from the likes of Joan Jett and Guns N' Roses, Colton eventually made his way to metalcore by the time he was in middle school.
After being in multiple bands over the years, Colton's most recent musical project is Spring Hollow, a duo with Nick Nessi in the pop punk and alternative rap vein of Machine Gun Kelly and Sueco. Spring Hollow's first show was with Kevin Gates this summer in Jacksonville, followed by another sold out gig on Halloween weekend.
In this episode, Colton talks with Mike about how he got into music, an inspirational concert where he knew he wanted to be a musician and inspire others, his mental health struggles, helping others, the formation of Spring Hollow, and more.
This episode of March Forth with Mike Bauman also features the single "He Said She Said" from Spring Hollow, available where you get your music!
