"Eternals" is the latest Marvel superhero movie. In this podcast episode, HCC film professors Marie Westhaver and Mike Giuliano are far apart in their response. Marie loves how the 10 so-called Eternals evoke the ancient Greek gods, and she also loves the special effects. Mike by contrast thinks that the movie is overstuffed with superhero characters and is overly busy even by superhero movie standards. Marie and Mike are in much greater agreement in discussing "Spencer," in which Kristen Stewart gives a fine performance as Princess Diana. Although the script is thematically heavy and borderline implausible in places, the film does convey how trapped Diana felt within the royal household.
