The Architect is the designer of a society's built environment and provides one of the most vital of human needs, Shelter. The designing and construction of infrastructure and the built environment for the people, while taking note of the errors of the past structure, is one of an architect's roles in nation building. Providing solutions for the problems of our present condition and foreseeing the problem of the future is an important role of the Architect.
