The President of the European Commission this morning called on Russia to “de-escalate” its tensions with Ukraine.
Ursula von der Leyen was referring to the massive build-up of Russian troops on the Ukrainian border amid fears Russia is planning to invade Ukraine early next year.
During an address to the European Parliament in Strasbourg, the EU Boss warned Russia conflicts must be solved peacefully.
