We're straying into genuine cultural phenomenon territory for our third Christmas episode of 2021. Wii Sports and its console namesake came close to taking over the world in the late 2000s, with the former becoming the best selling game of all time, taking over all entertainment responsibilities at family gatherings across the globe for a solid few years. Nintendo captured new audiences and bridged generational gaps, and it was all in no small part because of Wii Sports. So come join us for a little trip back to 2006, find out what made the game so special, and whether it still manages to be something to write home about.
