Dragon on the Couch: The Dragon stayed in Horror Corner today and watched the 1995 Spanish horror comedy The Day of the Beast/El Dia de la Bestia (Tubi, Shudder), which she really enjoyed and highly recommends. She also saw The Snowman (Rent), a 2017 thriller based on a Norwegian book series that should have been good but was actually very, very bad.
Berto on the Bed: Berto was also in Horror Corner and saw Till Death (Netflix), a new Megan Fox movie with a great premise but bad execution. He watched Army of Thieves (Netflix), a prequal to Army of the Dead, that he felt had a stupid premise but was still a lot of fun. Lastly in this corner, he watched Halloween 3: Season of the Witch (Prime), which lives up to its pretty bad reputation. Berto then went into Flix for Chix corner and watched A Christmas Switch (Prime), a Freaky Friday style movie where no characters learn anything. He saw A Christmas Wedding Date (Prime), a Groundhog Day style film which had low production value and was overall not great. Finally, he watched Christmas is Cancelled (Prime), a movie where a woman's hot dad dates someone her age that he felt was funny and worth the watch.
Dragon on the Couch: This week's deep dive is the horror-comedy film Better Watch Out, currently streaming on Amazon Prime.
