Conspiracy Theory time! Here Dr. Chad Woodruff, neuroscientist and successful researcher now focusing on mirror neurons (these are important to understanding compassion) discusses our ability to evaluate conspiracy theories by interviewing yours truly, me, Dr. Lee Basham. Setting aside the Rancher’s endless habit of interfering with our casts, we discuss Conspiracy Theory. In this discussion we will focus on the epistemic qualities of conspiracy theories, that is the epistemic qualities of conspiracy and its theory. These theories are simply explanations; they are refutable and easily analyzed on evidence and logic in the use of this evidence. We clarify that quickly and easily. Other questions arise that would be forefront in the mind of a scientist. We came away with fairly good sense that conspiracy theory is epistemically legitimate. It is clearly reasonable; we can know when these theories are true and when they're false or indeterminate, so let us continue with Dr. Woodruff and his interview on this topic. Thank you, Dr. Woodruff.
Cheers~
