As a University of Connecticut student you may have the opportunity to move between the different UConn campuses around the state. UConn students who campus-change most often go from one of the regional campuses in Hartford, Waterbury, Avery Point, or Stamford to Storrs. Learn about some common challenges and obstacles students face as they transition to the larger Storrs campus, and some helpful strategies to ease your adjustment.
Amy Donofrio completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Connecticut, and her Master of Education In Instructional Design and Technology at Post University. She is currently working toward her Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership at University of Hartford. Amy has worked as a Social Worker and Admissions Counselor, and is currently an Academic Advisor with the UConn College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
Kelli Petersen completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Connecticut, and her Master of Science in College Student Development and Counseling at Northeastern University. She is an Academic Advisor with the UConn Academic Center for Exploratory Students, and also manages the Transfer Connections program.
Thomas Dineen is a sophomore Accounting major at the University of Connecticut. He began his college career at the Hartford campus before transitioning to the Storrs campus.
