G1 Why do you think we wait until we die to create epitaphs (summary statements of people’s lives)? Why not do it earlier? G2 Do you wish we knew more about Jesus’ childhood / youth? What would you like to know about Jesus’s childhood?

G3 Why is this feature of the silent years such a common occurrence (Jesus, Samuel, Moses, Paul, Mary, John the Baptizer)? Who else can you think of in the Bible who had silent years?
