We here at Cinema Degeneration have declared January 2022 "Vincent Price Appreciation Month!" Twice a week we'll be releasing a show diving into a different film from Mr. Price's catalog of over 200 film and television roles all throughout the month of January. Vincent Price was a consumate preofessional thespian, art connoisseur, cook, amongst many many other things. He graced the silver screen in many amazing shockers and brilliant horror films and his amazing talents truly knew no bounds. Continuing our celebration with Episode Three we bring you a review and deep dissection on the incredible Edgar Allan Poe epic "PIT AND THE PENDULUM" from 1961 and directed by the equally legendary Roger Corman. This 16th century tale tells the story of one Nicolas Medina and his descent into madness. The combination of Price, Poe and Corman was strong here in this 1st of 8 films that were a collaboration of the 3 geniuses. Join our hosts Cameron Scott (Cinema Degeneration CEO) and his co-host writer/podcaster Eric Phillips as they talk about the macabre and diabolical world of Edgar Allan Poe.
