Childhood Cancer Awareness and Advocacy with Dr. Elia Stauffer | Real Wealth Podcast S1:E5

Dr. Stauffer is a pediatric hematologist/oncologist with an interest in translational research and clinical trials as well as medical and scientific writing. Her fellowship/PhD research experience was in a developmental immunology laboratory focused on B1 lymphocytes and leukemia. her patient care experience included strong training in all major areas of my subspecialty: hematology, oncology, and stem cell transplant. Furthermore, she loves to teach, present, collaborate with staff, develop new programs, and in general do anything to improve patient outcomes and medical training. She loves taking care of patients, but it's even more important to her to be part of bringing new and better options to patients, in other words, affecting the systems in which we deliver care and the therapies that are available. For these reasons, she is now creating a new company to perform clinical trials in pediatric oncology.
