Men “speaking up” needs to be one of the changes following Ashling Murphy’s death – that’s according to a Fianna Fáil MEP. Barry Andrews has been selected to join the Committee on Women’s Rights and Gender Equality. He says he has noticed that there are rarely men speaking about important issues like domestic violence and that has been brought home by Ashling Murphy.
