Is Kubrick The Greatest

We present a pod that asks, “Is Stanley Kubrick The Greatest?” Producer Bill, Ed Greer, and Ron Swallow discuss the merits of one of the most influential film directors of all time. There’s plenty of over-analysis of his films and his genius but in this conversation, we try to determine why his movies had such an effect on us in specific. Producer Bill is an especially big fan and thinks Kubrick may have directed the best movie in about 6 genres. Regardless, Kubrick is a rubric, in that the study of his films is almost de rigueur for anyone trying to talk about film in the 20th century. So does that make him the greatest?  Let’s discuss.
