Clarification of Justification // Galatians 2:17-24

We need the clearest understanding of Justification to live our lives to the Glory of God.

Paul gives five clarifying statements to make sure we rightly understand Justification.

1. Justification does not allow you to sin freely. (v. 17)

2. Who we are doesn't justify you. (v. 18)

3. What you do doesn't justify you. (v. 19)

4. Justification changes who you are. (v. 20)

5. Justification changes what you do. (v. 21)

» What works do you do or have you done in order to feel that God would love you more?

» As you see justification more clearly, what freedoms do you have now that you didn't in the past?

» How does justification in Christ alone allow you to live more freely?
