“When the going gets tough, the tough get going.” Have you ever heard that saying before? When our friends and family reject the Good News of the Gospel, you know it’s easy to get discouraged and to lose heart. But today, I want to encourage you from the book of Galatians, “Let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” This was written by Paul who was beaten, thrown in prison, and persecuted from the ones He shared Jesus with. And even through the struggles, God inspired him to write, “Let us not grow weary.” So even in the times you feel like you have shared Christ’s love many times to no avail, do not give up. Keep praying and sharing! You know, research shows that people need an average seven personal conversations about Jesus before they open their hearts to Christ. The Holy Spirit is working in their lives—we must be patient and persevere. To learn more, visit our website at share life dot today.
