There is so much pressure that is constantly bombarding us to be the perfect mom. It surrounds us everywhere we go and it is so easy to buy into the idea that doing all of these will make us good moms. That if we do this thing or buy that thing then we will finally be good enough. There is validity in some of it, but it’s all missing the most essential component of all. The one thing that will help our kids now and for the rest of their lives. It’s so simple yet so many of us are missing it or putting it behind all of the other things that feel more important. Today we unpack what it is and some simple ways we can implement this. And no… it’s not coping skills.
