(This episode has two parts. Please take your time to listen to Part 2 episode at your convenience after this Part 1 episode. Thank you.)
Dr Khensu, re-elected President of NADA (National Acupuncture Detoxification Association), a mainstream integrative physician and a longtime practitioner of whole "ancestral" medicine, took us on his journey from his medical student days to his current career as an Emergency Psychiatrist in a VA hospital in Florida. All through those years, he learned and integrated in his practice the use of NADA Ear protocol for its simplicity and effectivity. In his on-going research, this particular ear treatment based from the ancient science in Chinese medicine, is quite easily taught and learned as well as applicable not just for detoxification of substance addiction but also for all other behavioral issues like depression, anxiety, restlessness, aggressiveness and many others. Laymen, health professionals and social workers have been trained to use them. Each state has its own regulations . NADA Ear protocol is safe for all ages to be trained under direct and indirect trained practitioners. Dr Khensu strongly feels that this must be the first intervention for patients exhibiting behavioral symptoms before using pharmacological choices that have detrimental side effects that may do more harm and be less effective in favorable detox outcomes.
