#05-Your health and your emotions: Why the need to be mindful of it and ways to handle them.
Leslie Krutan's knowledge and experience, as a caregiver for her late mother who had a stroke and a Dementia caregiver for a close friend and as Learning Disability Consultant and Cognitive Rehab Therapist at the NeuroCognitive Institute with over 25 years doing assessment and treatment of a variety of learning disabilities in pediatric and adolescent patients, took us to conversations on the how positive emotions especially calming ones can contribute to peaceful environment and not to escalate observed negative emotions and behaviors. She finds journal writing and outdoor nature environment and activities are beneficial to sustain good health and energy as one cares for oneself and others.
