This weekend millions of Americans will get together for Super Bowl parties and eat pizza, nachos, wings, and other tasty foods. We love being together, even if our team isn't in the big game! Christians come together not just for entertainment and socializing. We come to celebrate the most important victory: Christ's victory over death and sin and Satan. This victory is ours, and he lets us partake of it in the Lord's Supper. This nourishment for our soul is one important reason we come together often! Today, we are together for a holy meal. Our sermon is on 1 Corinthians 10:16-17.
