Quick Tip Tuesday - HOW to INCREASE CALORIES w/OUT gaining all your weight back that you just lost!
This is what I like to call your DIET BREAK! You are actually still dieting and losing weight up until you get to maintenance level in your calories.
Reverse Dieting which is the process of re-feeding and repairing your metabolism to build it back up to a maintenance level of calories is a totally different phase then where many are coming from; Deficit.
The goal when adding back in calories is no longer weight loss, but rather metabolic repair. Your goal is to get there quick but to also go slow and steady in the process of adding calories back in .
You don't have to eat more quantity of food but rather more calorie dense foods to increase those calories.
Reverse Dieting can be mentally very challenging. Please trust me when I say your body thrives at maintenance! Don't sell yourself short from this experience!!
