A personal analysis of the poem Blood Lines from the book WE ARE ONE Little Boy Lost by Alfred Harrell available to order on Amazon and blurb.com
Bloodlines
Bloodlines bled like a noonday shadow
Vanished into cracks of chipped concrete sidewalks
Paved walkways bleached off white by sunlight, wind, rain and heat
Sunlight...times eyes
Wind...times whisper
Rain...times kiss
Heat...times fire
Bloodlines bled
Disappeared into the very shadow of the light that conceived them
