Episode 74 - Dealing with life long chronic fatigue while still being super active!
In this episode we hear from the inspiring Kate Edwards. Kate hasn’t taken the normal route to ultra running events - she basically skipped the usual 5k/10k/21k/42k events and went straight into 100k and then multi-day events and soon to be iron man! All this while learning to managing chronic fatigue - when is her body saying don’t train today because of chronic fatigue and when is it just normal tiredness that passes when you start training? Understanding these messages is still a work in progress for Kate.
She has also lived in a number of countries and is currently completing a Phd in Gut health and exercise :)
