“Never believe what you publish, and never publish what you believe.” These are the words of wisdom echoed by tabloid journalists everywhere… and maybe even by “legitimate” reporters? We’re talking bloodsuckers, airplanes, and the National Inquirer in our first movie THE NIGHT FLIER (1997), a Stephen King adaptation in which Miguel Ferrer finds himself hot on the trail of a serial killer / vampire pilot. Then we jump ahead to Dan Gilroy’s Oscar-nominated NIGHTCRAWLER (2014), where Jake Gyllenhaal plays a sociopath keenly manipulating the staff of a failing local news network, also starring Rene Russo, Riz Ahmed, and Bill Paxton.
Up Next: WE SUMMON THE DARKNESS (2019) / BLACK ROSES (1988)
