Episode 103: Guest - Kelly Smith, on "The Morale Booster with Dr. John Ughulu."

Kelly is a native of Columbus, Ohio and moved to Atlanta in 1989. After graduating from Spelman College with a BA in Music with a concentration in Vocal Performance, she went on to teach private voice lessons for nearly 10 years. Needing a change coupled with her training gained from a short time in the insurance industry, she channeled her passion, education, and training into her role as County Engagement Director with United Way of Greater Atlanta.

Kelly quickly discovered her purpose advocating for those who didn’t have a voice to speak for themselves. 

Recognizing this, she completed her master’s degree from Walden University in Public Administration with a certificate in Nonprofit Management and Leadership. She is currently the Director of Development at Kennesaw State University fundraising for scholarships and program support for students.

Aside from her role at Kennesaw State University, Kelly lives out her purpose singing on the Worship Team at Linked Up Church and is the Author and voice over narrator of her book, Love Letters from An Ex-Wife: Confronting hidden feelings that can destroy relationships.
