Eddie Woo: Australia’s favourite (and unlikely) maths teacher and why maths is for everyone.

Eddie woo is a guest that needs no introduction. He is, arguably, Australia’s most famous and most loved maths teacher. He is a brilliant educator, TED speaker, Play School star, and Youtube phenomenon. 

He is the recipient of numerous awards and accolades including: 

• The 2018 NSW Local Hero
•  University of Sydney Young Alumni Award for Outstanding Achievement
• The Top 10 Finalist in the Global Teacher Prize 
• Awarded Australian Local Hero (2018)

What is particularly refreshing about Eddie is that, despite these achievements, he has never lost sight of the fact that as teachers, we have the privilege to serve those that matter most - our students. 

Eddies is warm, engaging and was incredibly generous with his time.
