62 - Jonestown Part 6: Leo Ryan

Join Kyle and Ardon as they continue their multi-part series on one of the most infamous cults of all time: JONESTOWN.

When we left off last week we had detailed some accounts of what life was like in Jonestown; before and after Jim Jones arrived in Guyana. Jim Jones was becoming more paranoid, erratic, and violent than he ever had before. It was all building to a head, and things were about to get a lot worse.  Because of Jim  Jones’ paranoia, he started to employ what would become a relatively regular occurrence while Peoples Temple was in Guyana, White Nights. We will also be discussing the visit to Jonestown from United States congressman Leo Ryan, which unfortunately ended in tragedy.
