Coming from just outside of Toronto, Chris was the top ranked high school basketball player in Canada by his sophomore year and eventually landed at Montverde Academy in Florida for his senior year where he played with the likes of D'Angelo Russell and Ben Simmons. Chris played his college ball at Harvard University, becoming captain in his senior season and winning the 2017-18 Ivy League title. After graduating college in 2018, Chris decided to forgo a professional basketball career and go to work for Goldman Sachs where he was able to work on helping startup companies get funding to get off the ground. It was this experienced that helped drive Chris to launch his own company, Waiv, which he is currently building with his cofounders. Throughout our conversation, Chris provides insight into the lessons he learned from the different chapters in his life and how they built on each other to lead to where he is now.
