Meet Janeane Garafolo, standup star for three decades, accomplished film and tv actor, and one of the pioneers of Air America Radio. An early win as "Funniest Person in Rhode Island" (hey, it's a start) led to gaining fame as a fearless and funny commentator on sexism in society. That led to a run of classic indie films ("Reality Bites", "The Truth About Cats and Dogs") and eventually a role on The Larry Sanders Show. In 2004, she became one of the first voices on Air America Radio, a liberal talk radio network, and today she continues with film and tv roles as well as standup tours. As always, find extra clips in the comments at laughtracksradio.com and thanks for sharing our shows!
