J-Bunny’s Music Hub Episode 68: Rob Youells (Generation Kill, Evolution Empire, ex-Fragile Mortals, ex-Dirt Church) 3-21-2022

After his band Evolution Empire's set at the Grammercy Theatre in New York City, J-Bunny has a conversation with drummer Rob Youells.  They discuss how he came to join the band Generation Kill, the band's project with Darryl "DMC" McDaniels called Fragile Mortals, and also discuss a bit about the band The Pain Method, which featured 3 current and former members of Generation Kill in its lineup.  We cover a bit about why the members spun off to form the new band and how he and Jason Trenczer ultimately rejoined Generation Kill.  We also discuss how Evolution Empire came about, how the band's tour with (hed) PE, Drowning Pool, and Ill Nino has been, and discover that Rob was in the band Dirt Church, which J-Bunny had seen in the NJ scene a few times back in the early 2000s.  Rob also talks about his time as an actor and bodybuilder, and makes some recommendations of ways to stay in shape.
