Episode 8. [Motherhood] Finding Your Tribe (Making Friends As An Adult)

Opening Bible verse: Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

 

In Genesis God said it was not good for man to be alone.  Jesus had his huge followers of disciples, his smaller group of 12 apostles and his inner circle of Peter, James and John.  Peter, James and John saw Jesus at his best (The Transfiguration) and at his worst (The Garden of Gethsemane).  We too need our close friends to be by our side in good times and in bad.  

Our circle of friends will probably change as we go through life.  Some of these friends will easily find themselves in our lives while at other times, we need to put in a little more work to find friends.  

 

In this episode, I talk about the different tribes I've had throughout my life and how I intentionally found them.  I'll give you tips and tricks for finding your tribe in whatever season of life you find yourself.
