Summer has arrived bringing warm weather, the opportunity to finally go outside, and, of course, cookouts.
Let’s face it, summers and cookouts go together.
Whatever you call it, it’s the perfect blend of test kitchen, potluck, and social gathering, which is much needed in a world filled with mandated social distancing.
In this episode of The Sports Refuge Podcast, we combine two parts of summer – sports and cookouts – for the social event of the season: a mock fantasy draft for our dream barbecue.
Participating in the draft are:
• Earl Holland Jr, host of The Sports Refuge Podcast and Sports Refuge blogger
• Ben Penserga, co-host of the Movies & A Meal Podcast
• Brandon Wilkins, co-host of the Movies & A Meal Podcast
• Vanessa Junkin, creator of the running blog, “She Runs by The Seashore”
• Jeremy Cox, staff writer, Bay Journal
• Jennifer Brannock-Cox, assistant professor, Communication Arts Department, Salisbury University
The draft consists of three rounds, followed a “free agency” round featuring three picks for items not already selected in the draft.
Whose plate will reign supreme? Find out.
