On this edition of the grid, hosts Chris Kuhlmann and Shaun Griffin discuss the Patriot Prophecy, a prophetic message the Lord gave Shaun prior to the 2017 Super Bowl, with the Patriots vs the Falcons in Houston. The two discuss how the Super Bowl served as a metaphor to the prophecy and serves to encourage American Patriots to hang in there. Though the country is in decline we can come back, knowing in advance that we have the victory.

Setting the stage for crazy biblical prophecies, Chris shares the following scripture passages illustrating prophecies in the Old Testament and how they were to be delivered.
Jeremiah 19:10-13
10 “Then break the jar while those who go with you are watching, 11 and say to them, ‘This is what the Lord Almighty says: I will smash this nation and this city just as this potter’s jar is smashed and cannot be repaired. They will bury the dead in Topheth until there is no more room. 12 This is what I will do to this place and to those who live here, declares the Lord. I will make this city like Topheth. 13 The houses in Jerusalem and those of the kings of Judah will be defiled like this place, Topheth—all the houses where they burned incense on the roofs to all the starry hosts and poured out drink offerings to other gods.’”
Ezekiel 4:12-13
12 Eat the food as you would a loaf of barley bread; bake it in the sight of the people, using human excrement for fuel.” 13 The Lord said, “In this way the people of Israel will eat defiled food among the nations where I will drive them.”
Ezekiel 20:3-4
3 Then the Lord said, “Just as my servant Isaiah has gone stripped and barefoot for three years, as a sign and portent against Egypt and Cush,[a] 4 so the king of Assyria will lead away stripped and barefoot the Egyptian captives and Cushite exiles, young and old, with buttocks bared—to Egypt’s shame.
Shaun would you agree we’ve seen some crazy prophecies in the Bible?
How do we weigh if the prophetic is true or not?
I know you are perfect and correct and never have made a mistake correct?
“No. This is why Scripture tells us to weigh prophecy in the New Testament.”
Shaun is sharing this word today with all of you Christians who love our country and grieve over what we’ve become. It can be so discouraging, but today, Shaun is going to share a word of hope. We’ve spent 3 podcasts talking about Christian nationalism and what a divisive and destructive label this can be. Given that we are recording this on good Friday, again, I want to extend hope.
Chris reads the prophecy word-for-word the actual Facebook post AND the timing.
The Prophecy - Super Bowl Patriots vs Falcons (2017)
I don't watch sports or keep up with any. This year it's being played 19.1 miles from my house at the birthplace of the infamous wardrobe malfunction. That being said, there is something on my heart about the outcome of today’s game. The patriots, like the US, have made some bad choices recently, scandalous in description. God has nowhere near finished with US. The Super Bowl will be a metaphor for the condition of our land, a sign. The Falcons will score early and the game will be hard fought. Many times the patriots will be cut off. In the last few minutes something unusual for the Super Bowl will take place and the patriots will narrowly win.
The Super Bowl went into overtime, which had NEVER taken place. The Patriots were down 28 to 3 in the late in the 3rd quarter. No team had EVER come back. It looked bleak. They won in overtime, which was literally the last few minutes of the game. The Patriots won narrowly because the game was tied, which is what triggered the overtime.
