You Have Heard It Said 04: It Is Finished

One thing is for sure: Jesus gets quoted a lot. Whether it's a scripture verse you heard in a sermon somewhere, or maybe even something a friend said in a conversation, you’ve probably heard His name and his words discussed. When Jesus showed up on the scene in Galilee at the beginning of His ministry, He made an impression by taking the existing teaching of the Bible, and many times, turning it upside down and giving it new meaning for those hearing it for the first time. To wrap up this series this Easter weekend, we will discuss one of Jesus' most powerful statements, "It Is Finished."
