Player, captain, coach and even referee! Steve Baines has done it all.
After a career at clubs like Nottingham Forest, Huddersfield and Bradford Steve joined Chesterfield in 1983, reuniting with John Duncan after their spell together at Scunthorpe. He captained the side that won the league in the 84/85 season whilst also assisting John Duncan with the coaching.
Amazingly he also went onto have a football league career as a referee and joined me to talk about his career on and off the pitch.
