When we slip up, are we defined by that? Have we been judged on a curve because of our past or because we are associated with a group of people who have let their character slip? As a pastor, there have been times that I have fallen into both of these groups. As individuals, we have to realize that building our character up is important as well as being consistent in it and not letting circumstances and situations deplete us. Every decision we make comes at a cost and we cannot allow our character to be the currency that we freely give away in order to get something quicker or win a battle against an opponent with questionable character.
